Hawaiian Flowers – Ikebana Exhibit

Flower arrangements from seven schools will fill the Honolulu Hale courtyard in the exhibit “Splendors of Ikebana.” The art of Ikebana is a centuries-old tradition in Japan. Tropical flowers and other indigenous plants from Hawai’i have been incorporated in the art, creating a uniquely Local Style blend. There are demonstrations to watch at 10 a.m. March 25-26.
